PASTA WITH SPINACH, CREAM, CHICKEN, AND WALNUT SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g La Moderna® Spiral Pasta
  • 6 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 cups of clean spinach leaves, cut into strips
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1/2 piece (95g) of low-fat cream cheese, diced
  • 2 cups of chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/2 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of toasted and chopped walnuts
  • 4 teaspoons of grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3eat a skillet with half of the olive oil, add the onion and cook until it changes color, then add the garlic and wait until it browns. Add the spinach and sauté for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the cream and cheese. Season with salt and pepper and keep warm.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the pasta to the chicken skillet, then add the spinach sauce.
  7. Mix to incorporate the flavors.
  8. Serve hot with parmesan cheese and chopped walnuts.
