Spaghetti with pumpkin slices and arbol chili


  • 2 L of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 200 g of Spaghetti La Moderna®
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 2 fresh arbol chiles, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 zucchinis, thinly sliced
  • A pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 4 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh oregano, chopped



  1. Boil the water with salt and add the Spaghetti La Moderna®; cook until almost al dente according to the package cooking time.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a skillet and lightly brown the garlic.
  4. Add the chiles and zucchini.
  5. Sauté for a couple of minutes until lightly browned and enhance the flavor with salt and pepper.
  6. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  7. Melt the butter in the same skillet and add the cream, water, and cream cheese.
  8. Cook over low heat and stir constantly to integrate the sauce.
  9. Add the pasta with the zucchinis to the skillet, mix well, and heat for a couple of minutes.
  10. Serve immediately and garnish with oregano.
