Spaghetti with zucchini and chili pepper

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 L of water

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 200 g of Spaghetti La Moderna®

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, finely minced

  • 2 fresh arbol chiles, seeded and finely chopped

  • 2 zucchini, thinly sliced

  • A pinch of salt and ground black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup whipping cream

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese

  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, minced

Instructions

  1. Bring the salted water to a boil and add the Spaghetti La Moderna®, cook almost until it is done according to the cooking time that the package says.
  2. Drain and reserve.
  3. Heat the oil in a skillet and lightly brown the garlic.
  4. Stir in the chilies and squash.
  5. Sauté for a couple of minutes until lightly browned and add salt and pepper to flavor.
  6. Remove from the pan and reserve.
  7. Melt the butter in the same pan and add the cream, water and cheese.
  8. Cook over low heat and stir constantly to integrate the sauce.
  9. Add the pasta with the squash to the pan, stir well and heat for a couple of minutes.
  10. Serve immediately and garnish with oregano.
