Spaghetti with clams and garlic shrimp sauce


450 g of La Moderna® Spaghetti
5 tablespoons of olive oil
6 cloves of finely chopped garlic
2 cups of clean medium-sized shrimp
1 kg of clean chirla clams
1/2 cup of diced fried bacon
1 cup of cooked peas
2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley
Paprika to taste


Step 1

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat, add the chopped garlic and, without stopping stirring, allow it to brown.

Step 3

Once the garlic is golden, add the shrimp, wait for them to brown (approximately 3 – 4 minutes), and immediately add the clams.

Step 4

Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for 4 minutes, then add the pasta, fried bacon, peas, and parsley.

Step 5

Season with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.

Step 6

Serve hot and accompany with baguette bread if desired.
