Spaghetti alla Bolognese


  • 500g of Spaghetti La Moderna®
  • 1 liter of seasoned tomato puree
  • 400g of ground beef
  • 150g of chopped smoked bacon
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1 peeled and chopped carrot
  • 2 peeled and chopped celery sticks
  • 1 tablespoon of dried basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Parmesan cheese to taste


  1. In a pot, with low heat, fry the onion, carrot, and celery in the olive oil.
  2. After 10 minutes, add the bacon, cook for 5 more minutes, and then add the ground beef.
  3. As soon as the beef changes color, pour in the tomato puree, salt, and basil. Cook for another 20-25 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package and drain.
  5. Serve the pasta with the sauce and Parmesan cheese, and enjoy.
