Penne with Arrachera


  • 200 g of Penne La Moderna®
  • 300 g of sliced arrachera
  • 1 can of roasted peppers
  • 1 tbsp of chipotle sauce
  • 4 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1/4 bar of butter
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 tsp of vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of ketchup
  • 4 tbsp of honey
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Coarsely ground black pepper
  • Salt


  1. Melt the butter in a pan and add oil.
  2. Fry the onion and add the mashed peppers, chipotle sauce, ketchup, honey, vinegar, orange juice, salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes to thicken.
  4. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package and drain.
  5. Fry or grill the arrachera and coat it with half of the sauce, and lightly season the pasta with the remaining sauce.
  6. Sprinkle some black pepper on the pasta and serve hot.
