Add the La Moderna\u00ae Whole Wheat Cavatappi (Tornillo) pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saut\u00e9 the bacon and garlic:<\/strong><br \/>Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped turkey bacon and garlic, and saut\u00e9 until golden and fragrant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook the vegetables:<\/strong><br \/>Add the cabbage and saut\u00e9 for about 1 minute, until it begins to soften. Add the mushrooms and continue cooking until tender.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Combine pasta and vegetables:<\/strong><br \/>Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss with the vegetables until well combined.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Add walnuts and seasonings:<\/strong><br \/>Stir in the toasted walnuts, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. If using, add the ancho chile.
